How Does Bradford Define Culture?
Culture looks different anywhere you go. And it means something different to everyone. The following three sections lay out what type of culture you can expect from a brokerage that has been laser focused on entrepreneurs from the very beginning.
1. Founded For Entrepreneurs
At its beginning, Bradford Real Estate was founded with the goal of answering the question: How do you create a brokerage that is uniquely built for real estate entrepreneurs? Being an entrepreneur himself, founder Kyle Felts critically thought about the legacy brokerage model and knew a better option could exist for real estate professionals, like himself, that were looking to break free from the limitations of traditional firms and grow their business.
So the questions continued: What would this ideal brokerage provide to help agent’s businesses grow? What financial structure would best serve agents who needed more capital to invest in their small business? And finally, what would a culture of entrepreneurs be like?
“In those early days, I was most excited about the opportunity the brokerage would have to create an environment where like-minded and goal-oriented entrepreneurs could come to share ideas and stories about what is working for them,” said Founder Kyle Felts. “Really they would be learning from the best, because they would be learning from each other.”
The original vision of Bradford’s culture quickly came to life, and it continues to create a demand for the brokerage to increase its number of organized gatherings every year. In 2023, Bradford has plans to provide 80+ events for collaboration among Bradford REALTORS®.
2. Shaped By Our Entrepreneurs
At Bradford Real Estate, our collaborative group of entrepreneurs play a big part in shaping our culture and helping us know what’s important.
See the video above to hear Bradford entrepreneurs describe the culture as having a “spirit of cooperation” where there is a “willingness to help one another” and “see other agents succeed” — “truly wanting what’s best for one another.”
Entrepreneurs know that it takes hard work to run a successful small business, therefore, being among peers who also strongly understand this concept builds a culture of accountability. Like a family, REALTORS® at Bradford are full of encouragement and quickly share best practice tips that are helping them grow their business.
Most often, Bradford entrepreneurs come to the brokerage to work on their business, which is why Bradford prioritizes creating opportunities for equally-driven real estate professionals to share best practices and collaborate. We believe it’s this uniquely motivated energy and supportive culture that makes Bradford stand out from other brokerages in Middle Tennessee.
3. A Culture Supported At Every Step
In addition to Bradford’s peer network, the brokerage itself adds multiple layers of support to help professionals grow their businesses.
It starts with 100% commission. At Bradford, we believe it’s in our agent entrepreneurs’ best interests to keep 100% of sales commission to grow their real estate business by reinvesting in the tools needed to achieve their goals. In addition, both offices in Nashville and Franklin feature experienced brokers who are non-competing so that they can dedicate the majority of their time helping you.
At Bradford, growth is an expectation. But we don’t have quotas or pressure agents to do things a certain way, rather, we provide freedom in business. Whether it’s moving from being a part-time agent to a full-time professional, or even needing advice on building your own team, many of our entrepreneurs have walked through these steps, including Kyle, and are willing to help you reach the next step.
Want to grow? Go with Bradford.
In summary, Bradford was created to support real estate agents aspiring to be entrepreneurs. What it’s become is a family of down-to-earth real estate professionals helping one another grow themselves and grow their small businesses.
